Hi, I’m Ton. Great stories are my lifeblood, and they led me to the world of film. I spent the last two years diving deep into movies while pursuing my master’s degree in Cinema Studies at NYU, and I now work as a development assistant at a German production company. Along the way, I’ve seen a lot of movies -many amazing ones, some I outright hated- but even the less enjoyable ones felt valuable to me. Now, I want to share the best of them with you.

My picks range from arthouse gems to mainstream Hollywood blockbusters, from comedies to slasher films (though probably fewer of the latter). The only thing that matters? That they’re GREAT MOVIES!!! 💫

On top of that I include insights into film history, production techniques, and background information on filmmakers. Just whatever catches my interest and feels worth sharing, and a few personal stories sprinkled in along the way.
